Practitioners who work where the risk is.

Procyon is a South Asian advisory practice delivering specialist process safety, environmental and social risk, governance and development-finance advisory to industrial and infrastructure clients across South Asia, the GCC and Africa.

Our mission

Built to close the practitioner gap in South Asian advisory.

Procyon exists to fill a specific gap in the region’s advisory market: the need for specialists who have managed real industrial risk themselves. Too much advice is delivered by analysts who bring frameworks but little time in the field. Our practice is built on practitioners who have run process safety programmes at live petrochemical facilities, led HAZOP studies under production pressure and delivered E&S assessments for development-bank lenders.

Our advisory spans process safety management, occupational health and safety, environmental and social impact, sustainability reporting, risk intelligence and institutional governance. Every piece of work is anchored in the standards your development bank, regulator and investors already require.

From our base in Pakistan, and with a strong track record across the GCC and Africa, we support industrial operators, infrastructure sponsors and development-finance clients who need advice that is technically rigorous, regionally grounded and immediately defensible.

55+ years Combined senior field experience

Certified practitioners whose careers span Canada, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Pakistan and Nepal, across oil and gas, petrochemicals, fertilizer, power and infrastructure.

IFC PS · ISO 45001 · GRI Standards we deliver against

Every deliverable is aligned with the frameworks your lenders, regulators and investors already apply: the IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, ISO 45001 and the GRI Standards.

WB · ADB · AIIB Development finance track record

Our principals have supported MDB-financed programmes across South Asia, from E&S monitoring frameworks and OHS advisory to PMU capacity building and governance strengthening.

Leadership team

The specialists who lead every engagement.

Our leadership combines industrial risk specialists, environmental and social advisors and governance practitioners, with delivery experience across South Asia, the GCC, Africa and international markets.

How we work

Four principles behind every engagement.

Field-led

Practitioners on site

Every engagement is led by a certified practitioner with real operating experience, not a junior analyst with a framework and no time in the field.

Standards-anchored

No proprietary lock-in

We work to the IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, ISO 45001 and the GRI Standards: the frameworks your lenders, regulators and investors already require.

Regional depth

Built in the region

Our knowledge of South Asian and GCC markets comes from years of in-country delivery. We understand the regulatory, cultural and operational context, rather than applying it from abroad.

Outcome-focused

Written to be defended

Deliverables are designed to stand up in front of your board, lenders and regulators. We write for the audience that matters, not for the filing cabinet.

Regional presence

Delivering across South Asia, with a strong record in the GCC.

The name

Procyon rises before the Dog Star.

Procyon is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Minor. Its Greek name means “before the dog”: it clears the horizon shortly before Sirius, and for centuries sky-watchers read it as an early sign of what was coming.

That is the role we play for our clients. We find the degraded barrier, the overdue action and the missing evidence early, before they become an incident, a failed audit or a stalled loan.
